Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you ("you", "the user", "the customer") and Yumi Live LTD, a company registered in England and Wales ("Yumi Live", "we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using our website at yumilive.co.uk or any of the courses, content or services we provide, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Who we are

Yumi Live LTD is an education company that designs and delivers online courses, live cohorts and training programmes about artificial intelligence. You can contact us at contact@yumilive.co.uk.

2. Eligibility

To use our services you must be at least 18 years old, or 16 years old with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. By creating an account you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity that takes place under your account. Notify us immediately at contact@yumilive.co.uk if you suspect any unauthorised use.

4. What we provide

We provide access to online educational content, including but not limited to:

• Pre-recorded video lessons and modules
• Live online classes and group sessions
• Downloadable resources, templates and exercises
• Community access and discussion forums
• Mentorship or 1:1 sessions where included in your plan

The exact features included depend on the plan you subscribe to. We may add, modify or discontinue features from time to time and will notify subscribers of material changes.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Most of our services are sold as monthly recurring subscriptions. By subscribing, you authorise Yumi Live LTD (through our payment processor, Stripe) to charge the payment method you provide on a recurring basis until you cancel.

• Billing cycle. Subscriptions renew automatically every month on the same date you first subscribed.
• Prices. Prices are shown on our pricing page in GBP (£) and exclude VAT where applicable. We may change prices for future billing periods with at least 30 days' notice.
• Failed payments. If a payment fails, we will retry the charge and may suspend your access until the balance is settled.
• Cancellation. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by emailing us. Your access remains active until the end of the current billing period.

6. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In summary, we offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on your first subscription payment, subject to the conditions described in that policy.

7. Acceptable use

When using our services you agree not to:

• Share your account or course access with anyone else
• Download, copy, redistribute, resell or publish our course content
• Use the service for any unlawful, harmful, defamatory or fraudulent purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, scrape or disrupt our platform
• Harass, threaten or abuse other members of our community or staff

We may suspend or terminate your account, without refund, if you breach these rules.

8. Intellectual property

All course materials, videos, text, designs, logos and software made available through Yumi Live remain the exclusive property of Yumi Live LTD or its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access the content for your own personal or internal business learning purposes only. You may not redistribute, sell, sublicense or use our content to train competing services or AI models.

9. User-generated content

If you submit projects, comments or other content to our community or platform, you keep ownership of that content but grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and use it in connection with operating and promoting our services. You confirm that you have the right to share any content you submit and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.

10. Availability and changes

We work hard to keep our services available 24/7 but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled maintenance and occasionally need to make unscheduled fixes. We may also change, suspend or discontinue parts of the service at any time.

11. Disclaimers

Our courses are provided for educational purposes only. While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information, we do not guarantee that you will achieve any specific outcome, income or career result from using our services. Artificial intelligence is a fast-moving field and any information we share may become outdated.

Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yumi Live LTD's total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services is limited to the total amount you paid to us in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, revenue or business opportunity.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Yumi Live LTD, its directors, employees and agents from any claim, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of our services.

14. Termination

You may stop using our services at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service. On termination, the licences granted to you will end immediately.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify subscribers by email or through the service at least 14 days in advance. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

16. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence give you the right to bring proceedings there.
