Refund & Cancellation Policy

We want every Yumi Live LTD student to be happy with their experience. This policy explains how cancellations, refunds and delivery of our digital services work. It applies to all subscriptions and one-time purchases made on yumilive.co.uk.

1. Service delivery

Yumi Live LTD provides digital educational services. We do not ship any physical products. After your purchase is confirmed:

  • You receive a confirmation email at the address you registered with, normally within a few minutes.
  • Access to the platform and your subscribed courses is granted immediately upon successful payment.
  • Live cohorts and group sessions are scheduled according to a published calendar inside the platform.

If you do not receive your access within 30 minutes of payment, please contact contact@yumilive.co.uk and we will resolve it as a priority.

2. 14-day money-back guarantee

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on the first payment of any new subscription. If, within 14 calendar days of your first payment, you decide our service is not right for you, you can request a full refund — no questions asked.

How to claim a refund within 14 days

  1. Send an email to contact@yumilive.co.uk from the email address on your account.
  2. Include the subject line "Refund request" and the date of your first payment.
  3. We will confirm receipt within one business day and process the refund within five business days.

Conditions

  • The 14-day guarantee applies only to the first payment of a new subscription.
  • It does not apply to renewal payments, upgrades or any subsequent billing cycle.
  • The refund is paid back to the original payment method through Stripe. Banks may take an additional 5–10 business days to credit it to your account.
  • We reserve the right to refuse a refund where there is clear evidence of abuse — for example, if a user repeatedly subscribes and refunds, or has downloaded or redistributed substantial amounts of course content.

3. Cancelling a subscription

You can cancel your monthly subscription at any time. There are no cancellation fees.

  • Self-service: log in to your account, go to "Billing" and click "Cancel subscription".
  • By email: write to contact@yumilive.co.uk from your account email asking for cancellation. We will process the cancellation within one business day.

When you cancel, your account is not immediately closed. You keep access to all the content included in your plan until the end of the billing period you have already paid for. After that date, the subscription does not renew and no further charges are taken.

4. Refunds after 14 days

After the 14-day window, subscription payments are generally non-refundable because the service is delivered continuously throughout each monthly billing cycle. However we will consider refunds outside that window in the following circumstances:

  • You were charged because of a technical or billing error on our side.
  • You were unable to access the service due to a major technical failure on our platform that we did not resolve.
  • A renewal was charged after you had clearly and verifiably requested cancellation and we failed to process it.
  • Any other situation where consumer-protection law in your country gives you a statutory right to a refund.

5. UK and EU consumer right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer based in the United Kingdom or the European Union, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal from distance-sold services. By starting to use our digital content immediately after purchase you acknowledge that this right of withdrawal may be limited once delivery of the service has begun, in line with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and equivalent EU rules. Our voluntary 14-day money-back guarantee described above is offered in addition to, and is at least as favourable as, your statutory rights.

6. Failed and disputed payments

If a scheduled payment fails, we will retry it a small number of times. If it continues to fail, we may suspend your access until the balance is settled. You can update your payment method at any time from your account.

If you believe a charge on your card is unauthorised or incorrect, please contact us first at contact@yumilive.co.uk — we can usually resolve issues quickly and directly. Filing a chargeback before contacting us may result in your account being suspended while the dispute is reviewed.

7. Pricing changes

We may update our prices over time. Existing subscribers will receive at least 30 days' notice by email before any price change applies to their renewal. If you do not accept the new price, you can cancel before the change takes effect.
